Gateway Finally Receives A Positive Response For $70 Million Casino

As the development of Cascades Casino Delta is coming to an end, Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Ltd has received the green light from Delta City Council. Namely, the company wanted to work and improve the portion of the property that is on 6005 Highway 17A road. As the approval came in July this year, it is expected that the construction will start this fall, or by the end of fall. Before the start, Gateway must wait for the final approval of the most recognized casino entertainment company in Canada, under the name of British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC). After they give the green light, Gateway can start with its ruling.

Meetings And Approvals

The last September was great for Gateway as they have received the letter of approval from the BCLC with the orders to relocate Newton Community Gaming Centre in Surrey. The centre was located at Delta Town and Country Inn, close to the Northwest intersection of 99 and 17A Highways. Two months later, the company has chosen Delta municipality in British Columbia. Since that time, a lot of meetings have been held in order to receive the public answer from the company. The latest meetings were held in February this year in the City Of Delta.

The Property’s Space

The overall space for this enormous complex ranges around 200,000 square foot and the overall investment price floats around $70 million. This will trigger the great avalanche of available jobs that will be available to people who are unemployed. Once completed, The Cascade Casino Delta will have a hotel, with 124 guest rooms, a conference room and hall for meetings, restaurants, and other additional features. The live entertainment with gaming floor full of slots and gambling machines will be included in the construction plan. Of course, the gaming content will be determined and secured by the BCLC, the most respected gambling authority in Canada.

The Constant Expanding

Gateway, as one of the leading gaming entertainment companies in Canada and even maybe in the world, holds under its regulations and operates eleven gaming properties. In July last year, Gateway made an agreement with Casino Operating And Services Agreement along with Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp to put Central Gaming Bundle under its control for the upcoming time. This resulted in the huge boost of the leases provided by Gateway for other casino properties, including the Casino Rama Resort. With the latest approval, Gateway could take over the leading position in the gaming and entertainment niche in Canada. We can’t wait to see how the things will go on and what new features and upgrades we will witness to. But knowing the integrity and professionalism, we can be sure that will see something extraordinary and worth visiting.
